Although BL series are fictional and artistic, many fans prefer that BL actors maintain their on-screen partnerships. However, when one partner is unable to continue, the BL couple often ends. There are two main reasons for this. First, if one actor leaves the agency, the other must find a new partner. Pairing actors from different agencies can be challenging due to financial and contractual complications related to events, promotions, concerts, and commercial activities. As a result, agencies tend to pair their in-house actors rather than freelance or external actors. Second, actors may choose to focus on individual projects, sometimes wanting to step out of the shadow of their previous BL pairing. For instance, GMMTV’s actor Chimon decided not to pair with Perth anymore, and Ohm Pawat and Nanon Korapat also chose not to continue as a duo.

In this video, we will discuss five BL actors with new on-screen partners in their upcoming series.

Number 1: Fluke Gawin

Fluke has participated in various BL series as both a supporting and lead actor. Last year, he took the lead role in “Be My Favourite” alongside Krist Perawat. Initially, Mike Chinnarat was supposed to star, but his departure from GMMTV allowed Fluke to step in. This year, Krist reunited with his long-term BL partner, Singto Prachaya, leaving Fluke in need of a new on-screen partner.

GMMTV has created an exciting new pairing by teaming Fluke with Joss Way. Joss, known for his strong fan base and his roles in non-BL series, brings a handsome and manly presence to the screen.

Joss and Fluke will lead in GMMTV’s upcoming BL drama, “My Golden Blood,” which has already begun filming. The series tells the story of a vampire and a human with rare, irresistible blood. Joss plays the vampire Mark, while Fluke plays Tong. The series is expected to be released later this year.

Number 2: Perth Tanapon

Perth was initially set to pair with Chimon in GMMTV’s upcoming BL series, “Perfect 10 Liners.” However, Chimon withdrew from the series due to mental health reasons and decided to take a break from BL projects. GMMTV then substituted Santa Pongsapak in his place.

Santa has previously appeared in several BL series, including “7 Project” and “My Only 12%.”

Fans will see the new PerthSanta duo in “Perfect 10 Liners.”

Number 3: Max Nattapol

Max Nattapol, who has long been paired with Tul Pakorn, will appear in the upcoming Thai historical GL drama, “Mom Pet Sawan,” alongside Kaownah Kittipat. The series has already started filming.

Max plays the supporting role of police officer Prajong, while Kaownah portrays traditional dancer Khwan. Although their romance is not the series’ main focus, fans will see the MaxKaownah duo in “Mom Pet Sawan,” expected to release later this year or early next year.

Number 4: Jeff Satur

Jeff takes the lead role in GDH’s new project, “The Paradise of Thorns,” playing the character Thorns. Keng Harit co-stars as Jeff’s boyfriend. The series explores themes of romance, sadness, ego, and revenge, while highlighting the importance of equal marriage, recently approved by the Thai senate. The series is expected to be released in August.

In addition, Jeff will appear in the “Happy Ending Series” with Barcode, produced by his own label, Studio on Saturn. A suspenseful six-minute pilot trailer has already been released.

Number 5: Lee Long Shi

Lee Long Shi will star in the upcoming BL series “The Love Matter” alongside Boom Panathon. Previously, Lee worked with Frank Thanatsaran in “OMG! Vampire.” However, on July 19, Frank announced that he and Lee are no longer working as a pair and are focusing on individual projects.

Frank has since appeared in the “Rebound” series, while Lee will take the lead in “The Love Matter.” In the series, Lee plays Phakhin and Boom plays Apao. The series has started filming.
